Cairo – Mubasher: The financial indicators of Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBE) has shown a 46.97% year-on-year rise in consolidated profits for the nine-month period ended March 2018, recording EGP 560.4 million from EGP 381.3 million.

Interest revenues grew to EGP 3.39 billion in the first nine months of fiscal year 2017/2018, versus EGP 2 billion in the year-ago period, the bank said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Monday.

Meanwhile, standalone profits surged to EGP 501.9 million in the July-March period of FY17/18, from EGP 367.6 million in the prior-year period.

EBE had previously posted a net profit of EGP 395.9 million in the six-month period ended December 2017, compared to EGP 246.37 million in the same period a year earlier.
