Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered a negative performance by the week ended on 24 May for the second week in a row.

The All-Share Market went down 1.45% or 69.8 points to close at 4,731.35 points from 4,801.14 points in the past week.

The Premier Market retreated by 1.64% or 78.07 points to 4,687.71 points compared to 4,765.78 points a week ago.

The Main Market dropped 1.13% or 55 points to 4,809.2 points from 4,864.02 points.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 2.4% to KWD 37.8 million this week from 36.9 million a week ago.

The trading volume shrank by 4.6% to 195.23 million shares from 204.61 million.

Transactions decreased by 17% to about 9,170 from 11,040.
