Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index lost 64.27 points, or 1.4%, to close at 4,536.82 points on Sunday, dragged down by the banks, energy, and telecommunication sectors.
The banks sector levelled down 2.16% after First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) tumbled 2.82%.
The energy sector decreased by 1.9% after Taqa dropped 4.69% and Dana Gas declined about 1.83%.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, sank 0.63% each.
On the other hand, the real estate sector grew 0.93% after Eshraq Properties added 1.41% and Aldar Properties rose 0.96%.
Etisalat was the most actively-traded stock in terms of trading value, with a turnover of AED 11 million, while Taqa topped the market in terms of volume, with 7.68 million traded shares.
