Saudi general reserves drop 10% in April – SAMA
The government current account decreased by 8% to SAR 40.98 billion during April 2018

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi general public reserves went down 10.3% in April 2018, compared to the same month a year earlier.

The kingdom’s general reserves amounted to SAR 571.46 billion by the end of April, versus SAR 636.89 billion in the comparative period of 2017, according to the monthly bulletin by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA).

On a monthly basis, Saudi general reserves remained unchanged, compared to March 2018.

The government current account decreased by 8% to SAR 40.98 billion during April 2018, from SAR 44.53 billion in the corresponding month a year before.

On a monthly basis, Saudi current account jumped SAR 7.07 billion or 20.9% from SAR 33.9 billion in March 2018.
