Mubasher: Gold prices declined on Tuesday, on the back of a strong performance by the US dollar.

The USD rose to its highest level in around six and a half months earlier, which pressured the precious metal, despite an increase in demand on safe haven.

Gold futures for August delivery levelled down 0.4% to $1,304.10 per ounce.
