Cairo – Mubasher: Ajwa Group for Food Industries – Egypt's ’s consolidated financial results showed a 1.041% year-on-year surge in its profits during the first three months of 2018, registering EGP 8.4 million, up from EGP 740,900 in Q1-17.

Sales fell to EGP 317.07 million in Q1-18, from EGP 445.018 million in the same three months a year earlier, according to a bourse filing released on Wednesday. 

At the level of standalone financial statements, Ajwa Group turned to loss after suffering EGP 4.3 million during Q1-18, against posting a profit of EGP 418,890 in Q1-17.
