Riyadh – Mubasher: Acwa Power has appointed financial and legal advisors for its upcoming initial public offering (IPO).

We expect the IPO to be carried out sometime during the second half of 2018, Acwa Power chairman Mohammad A. Abunayyan told Al-Arabiya news channel.

He also expected Saudi Arabia to become one of the top exporters of solar power in the world, noting that the Kingdom would become a leader in the technology as a whole not just the production of solar power.

Acwa Power is ready to bid for solar-powered projects, he told the news channel.
