QSE inches down 0.08% early Tuesday
The general index inched down 0.08% % or 6.98 points

Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Tuesday’s trading session down, dragged by the drop of the real estate and industrial sectors.

By 09:45 am Qatar time, the general index inched down 6.98 points, or 0.08%, to reach 9,196.34 points.

Turnover amounted to QAR 3.5 million after 104,500 shares were traded through 122 transactions.

The real estate sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 0.47% as Barwa Real Estate went down 1.51%.

Similarly, the industrial sector levelled down 0.01% on the back of Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding and Gulf International Services’s drop by 0.19% and 0.06%, respectively.

On the other hand, the goods sector headed the bourse’s risers adding 0.22% as Qatar Fuel and Medicare Group went up 0.59% and 0.19%, respectively.

The banking sector inched up 0.01% due to the increase of Islamic Holding Group and Masraf Al Rayan by 2.32% and 0.28%, respectively.

Vodafone Qatar’s stock, which jumped 0.23%, led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 31,400 shares, while Ooredoo’s stock, which retreated 0.07%, led the market in terms of liquidity with QAR 954,900.
