Dubai - Mubasher: Du and Etisalat companies have unveiled an agreement with Dubai Properties to develop smart ICT infrastructure in its upcoming properties. 

The new venture came in line with Taawun agreement concluded between both companies to realise the UAE’s vision for developing smart telecom infrastructure across the GCC nation, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

"Taawun’s support in our endeavour to develop smart new realty projects is invaluable,” director of operations at Dubai Properties Jaber Mohamed Al Bastaki commented.

The new agreement between the two Emirati telecom giants is planned to serve over 100,000 people living and working in around 20,000 units owned by Dubai Properties by 2022, WAM reported.

"The infrastructure solutions we have devised through Taawun will provide a backbone for the delivery of state-of-the-art telecoms services, smart and digital technologies in each of Dubai Properties’ projects.,” senior vice president for mega projects at Etisalat Humaid Al Suwaidi said.
