Mubasher: US house prices increased in April, seasonally adjusted data by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) showed on Thursday.

The house price index (HPI) rose 0.1% month-on-month in April, while March monthly rise of 0.1% was revised upward to 0.2%, according to the data.

Meanwhile, the headline index came below the consensus expectation of 0.5%.

On an annual basis, house prices grew 6.4% in the fourth month of 2018.
