Mubasher: Bayan Investment announced that it has sold its entire stake in an investment at a value of $3.63 million (KWD 1.1 million).

This exit transaction will generate a profit of $3.63 million that will be directly registered in the shareholders’ equity rights, according to a bourse statement on Thursday.

Bayan noted that the profit realised from this transaction will be registered in the income statements of the second quarter of fiscal year 2018.

It is noteworthy that Bayan’s losses shrank by 81% to about KWD 84,020 in the first quarter of 2018 compared to around KWD 443,780 in the same period last year.
