Mubasher: Ajial Real Estate Entertainment achieved a surge of 136.5% in profits during the second quarter of 2018, compared to the same period in the prior year.

Earnings enlarged to KWD 1.44 million ($4.76 million) in Q2-18 from KWD 609,000 ($2.01 million) in Q2-17, according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.

During the first six months of 2018, Ajial registered an increase of 45.9% in profits to KWD 2.48 million, compared to KWD 1.7 million in the corresponding period a year ago.

Ajial clarified that the incline in profits is attributed to higher income results of an associate.
