Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Aviation Company has reported a 15.4% year-on-year decline in net profit during the second quarter of 2018, registering AED 45 million.

Meanwhile, the UAE-based carrier’s net profit surged 30% to AED 112.7 million in the first six months of the year, compared to AED 106 million a year earlier, according to a bourse statement.

The company’s revenue increased by 7% to AED 837.33 million in H1-18 versus AED 781 million in the year-ago period.

Operating profit grew 9% to AED 185.7 million from the period between January and June, against AED 169.85 million in the first six months of 2017, the firm’s data showed.

In April, Abu Dhabi Aviation Company recorded a 41% increase in net profit during the first quarter of 2018.
