Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Wednesday’s trading session in green territory.
By 10:06 am Qatar time, the general index grew 0.24% to 9,848.6 points, adding 23.5 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 24.7 million after 907,400 shares were exchanged through 456 transactions.
The real estate sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 2.4% as Ezdan Holding Group grew 3.9%.
Meanwhile, the telecommunication sector headed the bourse’s decliners falling 0.3%.
Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock, which fell 1.14%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 9.35 million, while Ezdan Holding Group’s stock spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 280,710 shares.
