Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered a grouped incline by the end of Tuesday’s session, as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets went up 0.38%, 0.36%, and 0.42%, respectively.

The consumer goods segment topped seven gainers with 0.93%, while the basic materials and insurance sectors were the only decliners with a fall of 0.12% and 0.07%, respectively.

First Takaful headed the winners with 16.54%, while Al Eid Food led the losers with a decline of 9.9%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 21.7% to KWD 37.38 million on Tuesday from KWD 30.72 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 21.6% to 159.95 million shares from 131.54 million.

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest turnover of KWD 6.36 million, the stock added 0.5% or 3 fils to close at 612 fils.

Aayan Leasing was the most active stock on which 44.6 million shares were exchanged to register the largest volume in more than a year and a half, the stock rose by 1.5%.
