Mubasher: The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) announced that cash deposit increased by 11.35% to AED 22.594 billion in July, compared to AED 20.29 billion in June.

During the first seven months of 2018, deposits registered in UAE banks totalled AED 139.557 billion.

Meanwhile, cash withdrawal rose by 3.31% to AED 20.205 billion in July versus AED 19.59 billion in the month before.

From January to July 2018, the volume of cash withdrawal registered in the central bank stood at AED 137.92 billion.

Money transfer by banks recorded an increase to AED 619.96 billion in July compared with AED 595.36 billion in June. During the first seven months of 2018, money transfer registered a total of AED 4.04 trillion.

The central bank added that money transfer by clients enlarged to AED 273.24 billion in July from AED 262.73 billion in June, with the value in seven months reaching AED 1.83 trillion.
