Dubai - Mubasher: Drake & Scull International (DSI) posted an AED 182.8 million in net loss for the first half of 2018, compared to AED 1.037 billion in H1-17.

Operating loss amounted to AED 111.6 million in the six-month period ended June, versus AED 979.46 million in the year-ago period, the company said in a filing to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).

Losses per share stood at AED 0.154 at the end of June, versus AED 1.585 in H1-17.

In the second quarter of 2018, net loss fell to AED 190.2 million, versus AED 198.5 million in the same period a year earlier.

Operating loss totalled 156.2 million in the three-month period ended June, versus AED 167.46 million in Q2-17.

DSI previously reported a net profit of AED 7 million for Q1-18, while its revenue declined to AED 693 million, versus AED 796 million in the year-ago period.
