Dubai – Mubasher: Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) is planning to soft open its Taj hotel in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lake Towers by the end of the year, the company’s CEO Puneet Chhatwal told Arabian Business.

Taj hotel is a five-star hotel comprises 17 floors including 200 guest rooms and suites, along with recreational facilities and dining venues.

“[The opening will take place] before the end of the year so we can benefit from the Christmas and New Year period, which is very strong in Dubai ... but, hopefully, it can happen anytime between the 15 December and 15 February,” Chhatwal said.

The Indian hospitality company is planning the inauguration of a second hotel, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa on Palm Jumeirah, in October 2019, Arabian Business reported.

ICHL operates 170 hotels in more than 12 countries around the globe.
