Mubasher: An unexpected discovery of gold deposits in Western Australia has delivered more than $10.66 million (15 million Australian dollars) in four days.

“You might go your whole life and you'll never see anything like it. It's definitely a once-in-a-lifetime discovery,” a geologist at the mine said, according to the Australian media outlet.

The new treasure was found in the Beta Hunt mine near the town of Kambalda, CNBC reported.

The new discovery weighs 90 kilometres and covered in 2,300 ounces of gold with an approximate value of $2.7 million (AUD 3.8 million).

Henry Dole, the miner credited with the discovery, said that he “nearly fell over” looking at what he described as the “mother lode”.
