Mubasher: Foreign and GCC investors in Boursa Kuwait have acquired purchasing transactions valued at a net of KWD 209.38 million ($691.55 million) during the first nine months of 2018.

Boursa Kuwait’s foreign and GCC investors, including individuals, institutions and companies, funds, and portfolios, have executed buy transactions at a total KWD 791.49 million, while they performed sell-offs at KWD 582.12 million from January to September.

Foreign and Gulf traders have acquired about 25.2% of Boursa Kuwait’s total buy transactions in the nine-month period ended September, while selling transactions represented about 18.5% of the total KWD 3.14 billion.

Local investors in Boursa Kuwait executed sell transactions worth a net of KWD 209.38 million, compared with KWD 2.35 billion representing buy deals.

Kuwaiti traders acquired about 81.5% of Boursa Kuwait’s sell transactions, while buy deals represented 74.8% of total KWD 3.14 billion in the first nine months of 2018.
