Mubasher: The Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has paid an official visit to Paraguay on Wednesday, 3 October desire to develop bilateral relations in various fields, based on solid ties of friendship and cooperation.

Al Thani signed a number of agreements and memorandums of understandings (MoUs) with President of Paraguay Mario Abdo Benitez; the agreements covered air services, cooperation in the cultural field, in addition to a MoU on cooperation in the fields of tourism and business activities, a MoU on cooperation in the fields of youth and sports.

The two sides also signed an agreement on the abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, official, and private passports, as well as a MoU on judicial cooperation between the Supreme Judicial Council and the Supreme Court.
