Mubasher: The Egyptian government considers issuing international bonds in currencies other than the euro and the US dollar. 

Asian markets could be the destination for the upcoming debt instruments issuance, finance minister Mohamed Maait told Reuters on Saturday. 

Maait met investors in Seoul last week with trips to Singapore, Japan, and Malaysia among other countries to follow, on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank meetings in Bali. 

“No decision has been made yet, but all options are open, and we are considering it and we will make a decision in the near future,” said the minister as quoted by the news agency.
