Mubasher: Qatar Insurance Group (QIC) announced that its subsidiary Oman Qatar Insurance Company (OQIC) has opened its new corporate office in Muscat.

The new office aims at enhancing bilateral relations between Qatar and Oman, according to QIC’s statement on Monday.

"OQIC's vision aligns with its parent QIC, which is to continue its drive for achieving further growth and operational excellence through innovation, diversification and responsible leadership,” Khalaf Ahmed al Mannai, OQIC Chairman, said.

Opening a new corporate office of QQIC is an important step and a strategic response to the increasing growth in the Omani insurance sector.

It also aims to support Omanisation by enabling Omanis to assume senior management positions.
