Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s trading session with an increase, as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets added 0.27%, 0.17%, and 0.48%, respectively.

The All-Share Market has rebounded above the support level 5,000 points; the index should remain above this level on Thursday to achieve higher technical targets at the beginning of next week, capital market analyst Saad Al Rumi told Mubasher.

The consumer goods segment topped eight gainers with 3.06%, while both the oil and gas and the real estate sectors were the only decliners with 0.55% and 0.27%, respectively.

Sanam was the top loser with a decline of 26.9%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 22.6% to KWD 14.9 million on Wednesday compared to KWD 19.25 million in the previous session after the trading volume decreased by 11.4% to 58.52 million shares from 66.07 million.

Zain was the most active stock on which 7.65 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 3.38 million, the stock went up 0.23%.
