Boursa Kuwait declines for 3rd week in row

Mubasher: The third week of October registered a decline in Boursa Kuwait.

The All-Share Market went down 1.22% or 61.8 points to reach 5,004 points compared to 5,065.81 points in the prior week.

The All-Share Market is moving in a range from the support level 4,980 points to the resistance of 5,056 points, capital market analyst Hassan Al Kandri told Mubasher.

The index is still at the initial support level of 4,980 points; it is expected for the index to test the resistance 5,056 points, Al Kandri added.

The Premier Market went down 1.6% or 84 points to 5,172.99 points from 5,257.16 points.

Similarly, the Main Market retreated by 0.44% or 20.7 points to 4,697.73 points from 4,718.42 points.

Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity grew by 51.3% to KWD 90.57 million this week from KWD 60 million last week.

The trading volume increased by 4.8% to 349.73 million shares from 333.67 million.

The number of transactions enlarged by 8.3% to about 18,880 this week from around 17,440 in the past week.
