Riyadh – Mubasher: National Medical Care Co. on Sunday announced the resignation of its CEO and the appointment of a new one.

CEO Raed Abdullah Altamimi has resigned his post, the firm said in a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), noting that the board had accepted the appointment of Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Alobaid as CEO effective 1 January 2019.

The newly-appointed CEO “has the Canadian and American boards in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Canadian fellowship in Gynecoloic Oncology [as well as a] Master’s Degree in Health Administration, National Medical Care noted.

It added that Alobaid had over 23 years of experience in the healthcare field. He is also the company’s Chief Medical Officer.

The medical service provider last logged a 3.91% year-on-year rise in net profits to SAR 20.26 million in the second quarter of 2018 versus SAR 19.5 million.
