Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened Sunday’s trading session on a mixed note.

By 10:25 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX 30 index fell 0.94% to 13,644.16 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index edged up 0.04% to 750.05 points, while the broader EGX100 index dipped 0.12% to 1,737.88 points.

The equal-weighted EGX50 index fell 1.16% to 2,127 points.

Trading volume amounted to nearly 8.6 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 20.07 million through 873 transactions.

Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 2.9 million, while foreign and Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 588,800 an EGP 2.3 million, respectively.
