Mubasher: National Industries announced that the court of appeal has ordered the company to pay $1.87 million to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

Kuwait’s court of appeal has reduced the amount to be paid to KPC from $9.34 million, according to a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.

National Industries has created provisions valued at the claim amount since the first ruling was issued. This amount of provision will remain unchanged until the court of cassation issues its ruling.

At the stock level, National Industries closed Tuesday’s session at 170 fils.
