Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has suspended trading on Sarwa Capital Holding for Financial Investments’ stock as of Wednesday, 31 October, in response to the Financial Regulatory Authority’s (FRA) request.

Trading on the stock will be halted until the FRA releases another statement regarding the matter, the Egyptian bourse said in a statement on Wednesday.

Sarwa Capital previously announced its board agreed to begin the procedures of raising the company’s issued capital by nearly EGP 700 million.

On 15 October, trading on the stock commenced, opening the session at EGP 7.36 per share.
