Mubasher: ShopBack a startup founded by six millennials from Singapore is becoming a model for new startups and especially e-commerce platforms.
After a string of failures these young people were able to find huge sucsees turning their idea into a multimillion-dollar international business, as reported by CNBC.
ShopBack gives shoppers cashback on purchases made from any of its more than 1,500 partner merchants, including the likes of ASOS, eBay and Expedia.
"We noticed that e-commerce was really booming," co-founder Shanru Lai told CNBC on Wednesday, adding that there wasn't a good platform where consumers could go to discover new brands and at the same time receive cashback. We wanted to change that.
This simple idea that started in 2014 currently processes $45 million worth of sales per month.
