Mubasher: Societe Generale SA France on Monday revealed that it has agreed to sell Poland’s Euro Bank of 1.83 billion Polish zloty ($483 million) to a subsidiary of Banco Comercial Portugues (BCP).
BCP said that its 50.1%-owned subsidiary Bank Millennium SA will acquire Euro Bank and pay for the transaction.
Societe Generale’s sold stake amounts to 99.79% of Euro Bank.
BCP further revealed that it expected to close the transaction in the second quarter of 2019.
