Saudi indices end Sunday in decline
The banking sector levelled down 0.41%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) retreated 32.28 points, or 0.42%, to 7,711.11 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 123.7 million shares by the end of the first session of the week, up from 123.11 million on Thursday, while liquidity rose to SAR 2.7 billion ($718.93 million), from SAR 2.62 billion ($699.73 million).

The real estate management and development sector levelled down 1.58%, followed the commercial and professional services sector with 1.18%.

The banking, materials, and telecommunication services sectors shed 0.41%, 0.39%, and 0.14%, respectively.

On the other hand, the media and capital goods sectors went up 1.14%, and 0.93%, respectively.

Saudi Paper Manufacturing Company’s (SPMC) stock was the worst performer after dropping 9.87%, whereas Saudi Fisheries Company’s (Alasmak) stock was the best performer after growing 9.92%.

The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation’s (SABIC) stock, which added 0.49%, led the main market in terms of trading value after generating SAR 260.53 million, while Alinma Bank’s stock, down 0.09%, topped in terms of traded volume after 12 million shares were exchanged.

In the meantime, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, fell 11.05%, or 0.45%, to finish at 2,470.09 points.

Al-Omran Industrial Trading’s stock led losers with 0.87%, whereas the stock of Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company was the best performer with 0.52%.
