Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday with a positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 39.31 points, or 0.5%, to 7,750.42 points.
By 10:55 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 29.73 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 693.73 million through 27,380 transactions.
The diversified financials sector rose 1.6%, followed by the capital goods sector with 1.1%.
The materials, banking, and telecommunication services sectors added 0.6%, 0.55%, and 0.2%, respectively.
Al-Baha Investment and Development Co’s stock led risers with 10%, while the Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Tawuniya) stock was the worst performer with 3.5%.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, inched down 0.52 points, or 0.02%, to 2,469.57 points.
Raydan Co’s stock levelled up 0.02%.
