Saudi indices end Tuesday in red
The retail sector topped TASI’s decliners falling 1%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) finished Tuesday’s trading session in negative territory, pressured by the fall of eight sectors.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 24 points, or 0.31%, to close the mid-week session at 7,750.95 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 141.7 million shares, down from 125 million on Monday, while the bourse’s liquidity declined to SAR 3.08 billion from SAR 3.34 billion.

The retail sector topped TASI’s decliners falling 1%, followed by the banking, basic materials and telecommunication sectors with 0.54%, 0.48%, and 0.38%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the consumer durables and apparel sector headed the bourse’s gainers adding 1.78%, followed by the healthcare sector with 1.71%.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, went down 13.4 points, or 0.55%, to 2,443.91 points, for the sixth session in a row.
