Mubasher: Qatar raised its oil production by 14,000 barrels per day (bpd) during October, against the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries’ (OPEC) supply cut decision.

Qatar’s output reached 609,000 bpd in October, compared to 595,000 bpd in September, according to OPEC’s report on Tuesday.

Similarly, seven other countries increased their output last month, chief among them the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Libya with 142,000 bpd, 127,000 bpd and 60,000 bpd, respectively.

On the other hand, six countries lowered their output headed by Iran with 156,000 bpd, followed by Venezuela with 40,000.

Generally, OPEC output grew by 127,000 bpd in October to 32.9 million bpd, from 32.77 million bpd in September.
