Mubasher: Kuwait International Airport (KIA) announced that air traffic is still temporarily suspended on Thursday due to the fluctuating and unstable weather conditions hitting Kuwait in the current time, the directorate general of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said on Thursday.

Flights taking off from Kuwait’s airport will be redirected to land in other GCC airports, namely Bahrain International Airport, Dammam Airport, and Dubai International Airport.

Arriving flights have been redirected to other airports in the GCC due to the impacts of heavy rains on visibility, the deputy director general for airport affairs Fahad Al Wugayyan told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

The volatile weather conditions are to continue until Friday morning, KUNA said, according to weather forecasts.
