Mubasher: Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China rose 7.3% year-on-year in October, registering $9.7 billion, the Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.
This rate came slower than the growth figure of 8.3% in the previous month.
China’s FDI also grew 6.5% year-on-year to $107.66 billion during the first ten months of this year.
China's non-financial outbound direct investment (ODI) climbed 3.8% to a total of $89.57 billion during the period between January and October.
By 9:07 am GMT, the Chinese yuan (CNY) rose 0.20% against the US dollar to CNY 6.9365.
