Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has launched 65 projects in the Northern Borders Region at a total cost of SAR 10.53 billion ($2.81 billion).

Projects by the ministries of education, housing, and transport, in addition to projects by the Ministry of Energy, Industry, and Mineral Resources, have been inaugurated.

The king has launched four projects by the housing ministry valued at SAR 691.45 million, in addition to 17 projects in Northern Borders University and the administration of education at a cost of SAR 2.09 billion.

Additionally, a white cement factory, affiliated to Northern Region Cement, has been inaugurated at a value of SAR 500 million.

Moreover, King Salman has opened three projects by Saudi Electricity Company at a value of SAR 4.57 billion.
