TASI rises slightly, Nomu drops at Monday’s close
Alinma Bank’s stock upped 0.19%.

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) finished Monday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up 16.33 points, or 0.22%, to 7,528.9 points.

TASI’s trading volume reached 96.13 million shares, down from 101.8 million in the previous session, while the main market’s liquidity increased to SAR 2.76 billion ($737.3 million), against SAR 2.24 billion ($596.8 million).

The energy, capital goods, banking, telecommunication services, and materials sectors grew 0.66%, 0.54%, 0.48%, 0.32%, and 0.2%, respectively.

On the flipside, the consumer durables and apparel sector tumbled 1.2%, while the commercial and professional services sector shed 0.91%.

The Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock topped gainers with 9.94%, whereas the stock of Anaam Holding was the worst performer after losing 4.83%.

Alinma Bank’s stock, up 0.19%, was the most active in terms of traded volume after 10.78 million shares were exchanged, while SIEC’s stock generated the highest liquidity with SAR 650.58 million.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, tumbled 12.03 points, or 0.5%, to close at 2,394.83 points.

Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries and Raydan Co stocks’ dropped 14.05%, and 2.2%, respectively.
