Mubasher: The International Football Association (FIFA) will decide in March whether neighboring countries will co-host the 2022 World Cup with Qatar.

The tournament could also be the first one featuring 48 teams, a goal originally set for the 2026 edition, FIFA President Gianni Infantino told Telefoot.

Infantino told the French TV programme that FIFA is discussing the matter with Qatar.

The 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar during November-December due to the high temperatures in the summer.
