Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) Group on Tuesday announced that it has extended its RFID-based technology services in DP World’s terminals 2 and 3 to serve its fleet of vehicles.

The new technology will help enhance the terminals’ world-class productivity and efficiency, in addition to allowing DP World to meet future demand ahead of time.

The move follows the successful implementation of RFID technology at Terminal 1, which helped Dubai's state-owned ports operator in monitoring diesel fuel consumption. 

It also helped in increasing operational efficiency and managing scheduled vehicle maintenance.

Up to 1,500 vehicles have been supplied with RFID across the three terminals.

The new system will reduce fuelling time for DP World’s fleet and improve the efficiency of operations at DP World’s container terminals.
