The Bank announces that it has been agreed with the General Authority for Zakat and Tax to settle Zakat claims for all the financial years until the end of the fiscal year 2017, and that this settlement would not result in any amount to be paid by the bank to the Authority and there will be a credit balance for the bank with the Authority. The Bank wants also to highlight that this settlement will result in a positive yet immaterial change in the Shareholders’ Equity, and it will include the financial year 2018, for which the amount will be disclosed in the financial statements later.
