Cairo – Egypt: Egypt is planning to build a massive suspension bridge over the Nile, named Rod El-Farag Suspension Bridge.

The huge project is executed by both the Armed Forces Engineering Authority (AFEA) and Arab Contractors Co.

The bridge is 540 metres high and 66.8 metres wide and comprises 6 lanes.

The project, whose cost was not disclosed, is a part of the third phase in Rod El-Farag Axis.
