Riyadh – Mubasher: American superstar Mariah Carey will perform in Saudi Arabia for the first time on 31 January.

The American singer and songwriter will sing on the sidelines of the kingdom’s first international golf tournament, Arab News reported.

Set to take place at the King Abdullah Economic City along the Red Sea, the concert comes along with the GCC’s move to open up its entertainment industry to regional and international investors.

Carey is the latest major international artist to perform in Saudi Arabia after music superstars David Guetta and Enrique Iglesias.
