Mubasher: Vodafone Qatar on Tuesday revealed Giganet, the network of the future, in a new brand campaign, according to a statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

Since commencing operations in Qatar in March 2009, the telecom operator has been at “the forefront of the digital era,” Vodafone Qatar’s CEO said.

The Qatari operator provided “intelligent platforms and connectivity solutions to the smart cities of the future to [the Qatari company’s] 4G and now, commercially live 5G network,” Sheikh Hamad Abdulla Jassim Al Thani added.

During the first nine months of 2018, Vodafone Qatar reported QAR 75 million in net profit, against QAR 227.7 million in net losses in the same period of 2017.
