Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s exports to France increased by 7.3% year-on-year in the first eleven months of 2018, the Egyptian minister of trade and industry.
Egyptian exports to France amounted to EUR 560 million from January to November 2018, while imports from the European nation stood at EUR 1.6 billion, Amr Nassar added.
Trade exchange between the two countries reached $2.2 billion in the eleven-month period ended last November, the Egyptian official noted, citing the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation data.
Earlier on Tuesday, France’s secretary of state to the Minister of the Economy and Finance Agnès Pannier-Runacher said that almost 160 French companies are currently operating in Egypt with up to $5 billion in investments.
