Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Wednesday with a positive performance after its main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) jumped 59 points, or 0.7%, to 8,660.3 points.

By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 26.6 million shares exchanged through 19,400 transactions with a turnover of SAR 558 million.

The basic materials sector topped gainers with 0.79%, while the banking sector rose 0.69%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, went down 0.16% to 2,270.7 points, while the joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT 30 increased 8.8 points to 1,270.7 points.
