Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman (MBS) is ready to increase a EUR 3.8 billion ($4.29 billion) offer to buy the UK’s Manchester United Football Club from the Glazers before the coming season.

The Glazers, the US family that owns the major football club, have been reportedly spending more time in the kingdom recently, according to The SUN newspaper.

The London-based newspaper said that the Glazers, who have denied any intentions for selling Man Utd, may change their mind due to the enormity of the Saudi offer.

However, the offer’s value may be turned down if the Red Devils failed to secure a favourable position in the Champions League next season, the British paper remarked.

Bin Salman is playing a major role in modernising Saudi Arabia, with the country injecting huge investments in entertainment including deals with F1 and WWE.
