Saudi indices go down early Tuesday
The banking sector went down 0.49%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday’s trading session with a negative performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled down 23.5 points, or 0.27%, to 8,546.3 points.

By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 19.17 million shares exchanged through 15,460 transactions at a turnover of SAR 379.65 million.

The banking and materials sectors went down 0.49% and 0.19%, respectively.

On the other hand, the food and staples retailing sector rose 1.74%, while the telecommunication services sector increased by 0.15%.

Yamama Cement’s stock led losers with 2.23%, while Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons Company’s stock led gainers with 4.4%.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, tumbled 27.63 points, or 0.8%, to 3,424.49 points.

Al Omran Industrial and Trading Company’s stock fell 3%, while the stock of Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company was the best performer with 5.62%.

The joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index, declined 4.23 points, or 0.3%, to 1,262.46 points.
