Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has announced the beginning of operating an electricity substation in Dhahran region with a cost of SAR 116.7 million.
The facility, named ‘Aziziyah 3’, is to support the stability of the national electricity grid in the region, the state-run power utility said in a statement.
On Sunday, 3 March, SEC unveiled the completion of establishing an electricity substation in Jeddah at SAR 180 million in investments.
SEC last reported a 32% year-on-year decrease in net losses during the fourth quarter of 2018, reaching SAR 3.77 billion, compared to SAR 5.52 billion during Q4-17.
By 3:00 pm Saudi time, SEC’s stock levelled down 0.49% to SAR 16.40.
